If the alcohol/school law only affects take-away alcohol, here’s my idea for a Callaway grocery store: Put it on the northwest end of the site. Then, have the retailer spin-off all their alcohol sales into an independently owned/managed entity and carve out a smaller “space within the space” at the corner of Trinity and Commerce to serve as the booze store. That should easily put it more than 200 yards from the DHS entrance (assuming that’s how it’s measured).
