  1. I’m not sure I ever remember more divergence on a near-term forecast. Weather.com has no mention of snow/ice in the hourly forecast and 20% or less chance of any precip prior to 8:00 pm tomorrow when they predict it will be 50 degrees. Somebody is going to be big-time wrong on this one.

    1. I had the same thoughts. According to WSB TV, we WILL receive 1-3 inches of snow/ice overnight, but their hour by hour forecast shows zero precip. until late tomorrow.

But, hey, at least they won’t be wrong as they have sufficiently covered all of the bases.

    2. The word “possible” covers all outcomes. I hate to say this article seems sensationalist and not of much use, but hey, we’re all reading it.

  2. “Your weather this weekend: It may snow or rain ice or we could see fire rain or a fiery windstorm. Prepare accordingly.”

    – Weatherly Weatherton, Chief Hedging Meteorologist

    1. How exactly do you prepare for a fiery windstorm Weatherly? I don’t think the brining tankers on the highway are going to cut it for this one.

  3. Weather Underground says there’s a 20% chance of flurries or freezing drizzle with a high of 54 tomorrow. 54 sounds positively springlike compared to the way it’s been all week.

I’m about to go to Big Kroger….I wonder if I will find the milk and bread aisles bare??

  4. If I homeschool my kids and I decide to close school due to the weather, does that mean I can send them to your house DecaturMetro?

  5. The TV stations are in overdrive this morning trying to find the blizzard – guess there’s not much other news.
