  1. Note to self: If you have distinctive facial features/hairline, don’t get caught on camera committing a crime.

    1. Criminals are not noted for their intelligence about such tings or anything else for that matter.

  2. That guy will probably be caught quickly… thanks to the cameras.
I know all the “privacy enthusiasts” will descend on me, but if we are going to live in a place where crime is increasing (and it sure seems like it is in the City of Decatur) then we should take things like security more seriously so that at least we can arm ourselves with evidence.

A 4 or 8 camera system with network accessible DVR well under $500.00. If you had video like that of the guy who broke into your home, there would be a much greater chance of catching him.

Example 1- The guy above: caught on camera. Will soon be in jail.
Example 2- Red Dodge Nitro who ran over Greg Germani: caught on camera. In jail now.
Example 3- Laptop thieves in DHS (who came back again to get the power adapter, lol): caught on camera. Caught by the police *the same day*.

    It goes on and on.

      1. 2010. Either right before school ended or right after it started back. Not sure. you could check w the school or the PD. Was caught by the (then new) camera system the school got for free.
