It is not that everything *can* go. Everything *must* go!

Why is it closing? Is something new going in there?

Yes, a Whole Foods and a Trader Joe’s combo store. I still can’t believe they chose Decatur for this new concept.

Threadjack on the grounds that this happened around the corner from this Eye on the Street: What’s up with the pedestrian hit by vehicle on Sycamore near Fairview? Heard something on car radio but not much.

I heard that too, but no details. Anyone know anything?

I heard from a city official there was no pedestrian/vehicle incident this morning. False alarm I guess.

I can’t wait until we annex Walmart and the retail/condos that are going in when they tear down the church across the street. The extra tax revenue should pay for the multicolored cross walks to be installed throughout the city!

Blue Moon, the green house sandwiched between Leon’s & the new ice cream shop appears to be closing. Saw sign indicating 30% off close out sale this morning. Another Walmart casualty…. (only joking)

I figured it was just a matter of time with that place. They’ve got some nice stuff, but for that prime location they’d need a lot more customers than I’ve ever seen go in there. But I love the wind chimes my wife got there years ago.

I believe that that place has either gone out of business several times or has been going out of business continuously for a long while.

No, it’s moved permanently to the mattress store in the Bicycle South shopping strip. I’ve been tempted to move it when I need a parking spot.
