    Terra Mater Salon Moving

    Decatur Metro | November 21, 2013 | 8:08 am

Decaturish reports that Terra Mater Salon is moving after 24 years on West Ponce…

After 24 years in one spot, Terra Mater Salon is moving down the street.

The hair salon will reopen early next year at 224 East Ponce de Leon Ave., near Get Cigars, Terra Mater owner Elizabeth Rosel said.

I’m a bit suspicious of any Terra Mater news ever since Decatur CD had me buy into an April Fools joke that they were taking over the space and opening a brew pub/CD store a few years back!  🙂

Warren got me with that one. It sounded so plausible.

Too, too bad. I understand the landlord wants to do something new with the space. I am going to miss that mural. They were a true asset to that part of Decatur.

Yes it is true. We are moving!!!! The new location will be fabulous and beautiful! We would love to take the mural with us. We did 5 murals in the years that we were there. I promise however, that the new space will also be an asset to Decatur! Stay tuned!

      Another restaurant, no doubt.
