Great pic! Wish I was in that vehicle discussing the engines and counting cars.
Reminds me of a story that two great DHS basketball players, Hannah and Gretchen (Gretchen, who is now some hot shot trivia expert for the Braves) have told repeatedly. Back in the Nineties, I was returning from RMS to the high school and as always, was stopped by a train. Hannah and Gretchen were leaving DHS, trying to cross the tracks to enter South Decatur. As Hannah tells it, “Coach B got out of his car and was waving, not at us but the train engineer. ” She thought that was so funny, and weird, that someone would wave at a train.
Those crazy DHS girls from the Nineties!
Great pic, Kimberly !
