From the City of Decatur website…

Recycle your Christmas trees at the Christmas Tree Recycling Center in the Agnes Scott College parking lot, Friday, Dec. 28, through Sunday, Jan. 6. The entrance to the parking lot is between 184 and 206 S. Candler St.

Please do not leave your Christmas trees anywhere else on the ASC campus. For information call 404-377-5571.

We keep our tree up until MLK weekend. Hard to find recycling services by that date but we manage.
What on earth did Decatur do with Christmas trees before city recycling?

We kids went around and collected as many as we could and built Christmas tree forts. When we were tired of playing in them or they became too dry and prickly, we burned them. What a fire!
