One of the waitresses next door at Mac McGee next door said another frozen yogurt place is going in. Hopefully she’s misinformed since I’m quite sure we don’t need another frozen yogurt place so close to Yogurt Tap. I’ll be please if that hideous stucco gets removed from the facade though.

        Seriously? Ridiculous, if true.

Man…a Morelli’s would be AWESOME right there!!!

        How about a Paulo’s?

How did I miss this? Tombeau, I like Paolo’s gelato, too– I’d prefer either a Paolo’s or a Morelli’s to another fro-yo place (and I’m sure the Tap & the Swirly-twirly place would as well)!

Ha! I have converted at least one person! If they put a Morelli’s anywhere near the Square, I promise to gain at least 10 pounds the first month!

You will buy me ice cream at Morelli’s after getting me drunk on slushies? Man what a summer!

Whatchoo talkin’ ’bout, Willis??? I’ve been pining for a Morelli’s on DM fer-frickin’-ever!!! But I agree with Nell that we could all have a calorific blast, stumbling from the Jack & Coke slushy place to the super-premium ice cream shop, and never have to leave the Square!

Guess I’d better a prepare a leave of absence whenever they announce an official opening date!

There was a bookstore in that very storefront 3 years ago, Wordsmith’s (http://www.decaturmetro.com/tag/wordsmiths/).

        It went out of business.

Does anyone know if the whole stucco facade is coming down? Would be fantastic, if so.

A Korean taqueria would be swell.

I have it on good authority that the new business is going to be called… Next-to-Best Time!
