Ooooo. When I was in high school, my Dad had something like this as a second-hand (or third- or fourth-hand) commuter car back when it was just old, not classic, only it was aqua blue and the fins were longer. Because he knew it embarrassed me, he would honk loudly when he picked me up. I walked home a lot that year.

I had a car something like that – a 4-door hardtop (no center post). It leaked like a sieve and the back floorboards actually rusted through because accumulated water would fill them up to a depth of 2 inches or so. I finally just drilled a hole on each side so the water could drain.

There must be a movie being filmed nearby.

Good guess, but the only movie currently being filmed in Decatur is over by the high school.

What is that? A Bel Air?

It is a Bel Air, yes. It had Florida tags.

That, I believe, is a 1957 Chevy Bel-Air sports sedan.

Well it’s a lovely old thing. Kudos to the person who keeps it so nice.
