Cutest photo EVER!!
I hope that kid dismounts from his fabricated pirate ship when I come walking down that sidewalk. Yarr!
Where’s his Jolly Roger? I have had to educate myself about pirate flags because my grandson is into pirates and pirate ships just now. I learned from Wikipedia (many nice illustrations) that the Jolly Roger designs and colors varied, depending on what the pirates want to let other ships know. It seems that every pirate ship needs a black flag for threatening intentions, a red flag to signal “no survivors” if the response to the black flag is hostile, and a green flag to call for a “parlez” with the other ship (a rule both ships must observe if they are proper sailors). I really LOVE the construction shown in the photo, and wish they would walk down my street! Awesome!
What a good Dad or whoever built that pirate ship. True dedication!
