One Love, One Heart 5k Benefitting the CdLS Foundation
The 6th annual 5k benefiting the CdLS Foundation is being held at Medlock Park on February 13, 2010 at 10:00 am.
Maya Pomfret was diagnosed with CdLS at birth and has brought on the inspiration of this Decatur 5k every year. Maya attends Pre-K at College Heights Early Childhood Learning Center. The Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation is a family support organization which exists to ensure early and accurate diagnosis of CdLS, promote research into the causes and manifestations of the syndrome, and help people with a diagnosis of CdLS, and others with similar characteristics, make informed decisions throughout their lifetime.
