Patti Garrett Sums Up Policy Positions Prior to Election Day
Decatur Metro | October 30, 2009 | 10:11 amWith just a few days left until Election Day, District 2 candidate Patti Garrett summarizes her positions on annexation, crime, development, environmental issues, historic preservation, pedestrian/cycling safety, railroad safety, schools, tax relief, and transportation/traffic over on her blog.
If any of the other city commission candidates wish to summarize their positions prior to the big day, I’m happy to link to them as well.

All right. I’ll start things off.
I’m wondering whether my generally “hands-off” approach to the candidates has limited discussion of issues surrounding this election (said the narcissist), or is it that residents and/or candidates – especially in District 2 – generally share the same positions on issues and the only real things to consider have to do with the candidates’ individual skills & abilities?
I mean, I keep reading comments about candidates being influenced by the Mayor or influenced by non-resident donors, but I still don’t know what either of those things mean in terms of substantive policy. Just sayin’.
Can School Board candidates submit too?
Of course.
