A little outside of Decatur, but sounds like a mighty good cause…

ATLANTA (January 22, 2013) — On  January 23, 2013, Fox Bros Bar-B-Q will host an all-day fundraiser in support of two APD officers: Officer Osbert Beckles and Officer Reggie Robinson. Officer Beckles suffered injuries after a suspected drunk driver from Kennesaw allegedly hit his patrol car. Officer Robinson is in ICU after suffering a gunshot to the face. On Wednesday, 20 percent of the restaurants total sales will go to Humble Heroes, the charity helping both injured officers. Humble Heroes is a local charity organization committed to assisting police officers, firefighters and their families by providing financial and moral support to those in need. Fox Bros Bar-B-Q ‘s commitment to Humble Heroes stemmed from a the death of APD Officer Gail Thomas (also killed by a drunk driver) nearly one year ago this month.
