Marc Cohn Rocks Eddie's Attic – Late Show

September 21, 2008 | 2:01 pm

Of all the performances I’ve seen at Eddie’s Attic, Marc Cohn’s late show there last night was absolutely the best I’ve seen within those four walls. Who knew you could attempt head-banging to “29 Ways” and “Paper Walls”?

Not to mention his wry wit and high-level of sarcasm were right up my alley.  “But I’m not going to play that song you all got married to!”  Ha!

Freakin’ awesome show.

As a pretty regular Eddie’s attendee, I have to concur. He was truly in his element and particularly strong for a second set; perhaps he’s like Al Green and just gets stronger the more he sings. It was actually the best show I’ve seen *anywhere* in ages.

Would have loved to have been there, but we had a date with Marcia Ball at the Variety. She put on a great show!
