Junior Caroline Bailey scored early in the first half with an assist from Senior Amani Bright. The first half ended 1-0 Decatur. In the second half, Savannah Arts tied the game. With 15 minutes left to play, Caroline Bailey sealed the victory with a game-winning goal on an assist from Senior Bella Reiss. The girls now move on to the semi-finals for the second year in a row. Next game for the Bulldog girls is Tuesday, May 12. They will play Westminster at Westminster. It should be noted that this is a very young team. Eleven seniors graduated from last year’s talented team. They were replaced this year by a strong group of freshmen many of whom are now starters. Fans can expect exciting soccer like this year’s season for the next few years.
