Where is everybody?
Realized posts are cross publishing to Facebook after the plugin issue a week or so ago. That’s probably led to some of the quieter posts…
The mural on the parking deck at the Arlo looks great!
Is that underway? I thought it wasn’t getting done until Spring.
What are some great Christmas events that people in their 60’s without grand kids might enjoy?
Maybe Christmas on Clairemont?featuring a full orchestra, organ, piano, special guest soloists, and a festival choir of more than a hundred local voices. Dec 18th 7pm at First Baptist Church
We are thinking about taking in a little comedy – The Santaland Diaries – on the 24th:

Any Georgia fans in Decatur? Pretty quiet on football.
Did you guys see the new Aldi going in on Scott Blvd near the Sprouts grocery store? And the Whole Foods 365 will be only a block away. What will we do with all of these new grocery stores?
If I had all day, I’d say meat at Kroger, lunch at Publix, veggies and spices at YDFM, nuts and grains at Sprouts, and non-perishables at Aldi. But that sounds exhausting, so I’ll see you at the Chick Fil A drive through!
I’m just going to keep shopping at the Big Kroger since I can get everything that they have in one place.
Speaking of, we have a relatively new car and the tax office never sent us the registration renewal form when my birthday rolled around. Turns out the Big Kroger has a magical kiosk that will renew your car and spit out a new sticker in all of 2 minutes, using only your drivers license to access the details. It was likely the best two minutes I’ve ever spent interacting with county government.
This is why I read Decatur Metro faithfully! Thanks!!!
And the new KBar! Best time I ever had waiting for a prescription to be filled.
