The former “17 Steps” space in the CVS Plaza along West Ponce is being transformed into a UPS Store.
A commenter in FFAF noted recently that signs hung outside the space announced the change. We’ve since seen it with our own eyes, thereby confirming.
The next closest UPS Store is up in the Publix Plaza at N. Decatur and Clairmont Road, which is close in proximity, but can be a hassle to get to in rush hour traffic. There’s also a FedEx Kinkos up at that intersection.

Now in its 26th year, the Decatur Holiday Marketplace + Cafe offers a local alternative to crowded shopping malls and big box stores as Clairemont Elementary School transforms into a festive market, boasting nearly 100 local and national artisans. Featuring handmade jewelry, paintings, photography, pottery and more, this holiday market offers unique gifts for everyone on your list.
The event also hosts a well-stocked cafe, featuring food trucks and decadent
desserts from local eateries. Local musicians and carolers will be on hand to add holiday cheer. If you’re shopping with children in tow, kindergarteners and older can join in the fun on Saturday with free Art and Science activities provided by Color Wheel Studios and Science of Fun. Parents can pre-register online for the activities at www.decaturholidaymarketplace.com.
