Somewhat surprising about Atlanta being the most expensive place to remodel a whole house. Then again, I just heard from friends that they called 8 different contractors to build them a concrete patio, and none of them had time to take the job.
Thanks Brian. Good to hear from you.
I work with many contractors. They are working six days a week, sometimes seven. It is rare they are caught up on all the work. Simple laws of supply and demand. I don’t see it getting better any time soon.
I still hear that metro Atlanta has not recovered from the 07 recession in terms of the remodeling business. Many contractors quit, retired or moved on and haven’t returned. Those left have a hard time getting and keeping qualified workers.
Homeowners have to be patient and work with highly recommended contractors, maybe scheduling three to six months down the road. It will pay off.
