Amsterdam-Based “Poké Perfect” Opening In Old Yogurt Tap Space Downtown
Decatur Metro | January 30, 2017 | 10:45 amFrom Tomorrow’s News Today…
Poké Perfect plans to open the first of three Atlanta area locations in Decatur later this spring. The new restaurant will open in place of the beloved The Yogurt Tap, a locally owned frozen yogurt shop which closed this past November after just over six years in business. The roughly 1,200 square foot space is located on Church Street, across from the square in downtown Decatur. With U.S. headquarters in Atlanta, Poké Perfect has one location open in their European headquarters of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with a second coming soon to the city of Utrecht.

Hawaiian food in the South, brought to you by the Dutch. Sounds pretty Decatur to me.
Poké is the new froyo
I think you may be right about that. we visited BullGogi last night for the first time and got one of their poke bowls. it was very fresh and delicious!
I will try it out while in Amsterdam this spring and give a report. Tough work but someone has to do it!
Looks awesome. The one nit is that their Facebook page identified the new location as Atlanta.
Wow, that’s even worse than confusing City of Decatur with Postal Decatur! Quelle horreur!
Handle it like we handle it with our kids:
“What’s our big city?”
“ATLANTA!”
“What’s our little city?”
“DECATUR!”
Yep. When we’re traveling out of town, we’re from Atlanta, and when we’re in town, we’re from Decatur.
I momentarily thought this was a Pokemon-themed restaurant.
Why? It’s not? 🙂
Perhaps they’ll tap into the Pokemon craze on their menu?
I wonder if my Pokemon crazed son would enjoy eating Roasted breast of Pikachu, Poached Charizard eggs or
Squirtle soup.
I might just try this at home…
Seems that we need to get up to speed . . . http://www.hawaiimagazine.com/content/how-hawaiian-poke-bowl-became-worlds-new-fast-food
