Looks like a dual DCFC and a dual L2, this is great since there are not a lot of EV charging stations around the downtown area. Was hoping that Decatur was going to make this more of a priority for our town.

Cool. Is it free, or do you have to pay via app?

There’s the same kind of station at Agnes Scott. If you have Chargepoint, GA Power is sending out notices that ask you to link their card and Chargepoint. Free charging in September and then a certain amount free per use after that. It is a decent deal, but their list of stations is pretty slim. The Kroger is not on the list on their website yet.

Decatur should put them around downtown, or at least put 110VAC outlets.

110V and 240V charging stations are not that hard to install for a city. As far as I know, there are only those 2 spots back behind where Big Tex used to live.

I hope the new longer range models help with wider adoption. I’m surprised anyone is putting in charging stations given the drop-off in EV sales this past year.
