Will miss 17 Steps. I loved heading there to pick up a jigsaw puzzle, gift wrap, or a gift. I appreciated the selection and quality, though I admit that I don’t buy those things all that often 🙁
Note that the stock is going fast. Today the owner said that the store may be emptied as early as January 20.
Given that the N. Dekalb Macy’s has been having a store closing sale for weeks now, I’m not sure how it’s suddenly news that Macy’s is closing. Now, if someone can get confirmation about the Costco replacing it, THAT would be news.
A clerk at the Northlake Macy’s said today the the store at North DeKalb Mall and its contents has already been sold (presumably to a liquidator), and that was why things purchased there could not be returned to another Macy’s store.
