Why am I so happy that Waffle House is opening in downtown Decatur? I don’t know…I just am.
This is the place that I needed when I had little ones and needed a well lit place to work late at night in peace, nursing a coffee and food orders for as long as I could. Libraries and coffee shops close up too early. Bars are too dark and noisy, not to mention a temptation to abandon work.
