Small, White Dog Missing From Home Near Decatur High

    Winnona Park Stud writes in…

Please be on the lookout for a small lost dog whose owners are out of town until Tuesday July 21.

Lydia, the dog in the photo, slipped away from her dog walker on Pattillo Way (not the dog walker’s fault). Lydia recently relocated from Winnona Park to Pattillo Way, close to Commerce and West Howard near Decatur High. Lydia is chipped, wearing tags with her new Pattillo Way address, and just received a haircut, so isn’t shaggy as she is in the photo. She’s a Havanese/Shitzu mix, 12 lbs soaking wet, answers to no one but goes by Lydia, Ding-Ding, Stinky and Wet Beard.

If anyone sees her, or better yet, corrals her, please call at Ashley 404-510-5517. We would be extremely grateful. Sincerely, Lydia’s pets (Ashley and John)

No, but look like they could be siblings. Very similar. My sympathies to that dog’s owner if that dog is as stubborn and dimwitted as Lydia.

Thanks very much for posting this, Decatur Metro. Fortunately, Lydia was just located and is being returned to her home and the good care of her petsitter. She was just a little freaked out by her recent relocation and went on her own miniature Amazing Journey to Winnona Park where she was found. Thanks again for providing a community service that has resulted in a lot of happy pet owners being reunited with their pets.

fyi for this dog’s owners. she was running along the train tracks westbound. spotted her at candler and attempted to coax her at icehouse, but she seemed like she was on a mission to get somewhere specific. don’t know if that will help if there is ever a next time. my daughter is so happy she is ok.

She was finding her way back. We haven’t told her that you can’t go home again. Tell your daughter thanks so much and that she is safe and sound.
