I agree. It makes you want to explore. I always have found alleys and hidden grottos intriguing.
Why are the cones there? To me, they’re saying “Stay out”. Or maybe I’m so much of a rule-follower that I’m looking for rules even when they are none.
There’s a curb cut there but I don’t think cars are allowed to enter the alley from that end anymore. Perhaps it’s temporary and they’ll be putting in a bollard or something?
