Cyclist Struck By Vehicle on West Ponce

On Tuesday, May 06, 2014 at approximately 1752 hours, the Decatur Police Department responded to the 600 block of W. Ponce de Leon Avenue in reference to a bicyclist struck by a vehicle. The bicyclist, a 26 year old female, sustained life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the Decatur Police and their investigation.
