Hey DM – that’s actually the Bank of America tower (the sixth-tallest building in the US, and the tallest outside NYC and Chicago!).
Right…I knew that. :-/

I wish the Macon folks luck, but I have to say, in my visits there, I could not wait to get out. It’s got some beautiful old houses, that’s for sure, but not a lot else going for it. My wife went to Mercer for her freshman year of college, and could not transfer (to Ga. Tech) fast enough.
Will be interesting to see what they do, beside this pledge, to turn it around.
Macon will always have Otis Redding and In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.
