Huh? When did they ban ice cream trucks in DeKalb? Growing up in S. DeKalb in the ’60s, we had multiple trucks roaming the streets all summer — several varieties of packaged treats, plus the soft-serve trucks that you almost never see anywhere, anymore.
That would explain the ice cream truc…errrr…..van…trolling for customers along College Ave during last night’s fireworks show. Oddly, it was loudly playing Christmas songs which made the whole affair both annoying and amusing!
