It is correct. Trash was not picked up today. I fully expect the recycling truck to make another Monday round on Tuesday after the City explains things to them. They probably wondered why there were hardly any bins out.

I am happy that I had enough time from hearing the recycling crew to getting all my recycling out to the curb. I consult the door hanger & expect it to be accurate. What the heck?

Monday trash will all be collected on Tuesday. Tuesday on Wednesday. Recycling is supposed to follow the same schedule.

Today is a City holiday. Per the door hanger, there is no trash pickup today and therefore not supposed to be any recycling pickup. My trash day is also Monday, I;m early on the route and my trash has not been picked up. The recyclers apparently didn’t get the word. My guess is that they’ll be coming back tomorrow.

Well it could be if it’s an earthquake that specializes in only displacing the recycling bins! :0)

( I’m so used to all the construction trucks traffic, I didn’t even peek out when I heard a heavy truck idling.)

Has anyone seen a trash or yard waste truck come through? Even though the door hanger lists Mon sanitation services as happening on Tues because of Presidents Day, the recycling crew is running its route. (How do I know? Because I can hear bins smacking into the sidewalks after being emptied. Why yes, this is a pet peeve.) There’s no answer at Public Works.
