Just drove from Decatur to Midtown via Scott, Ponce, Piedmont, and Tenth. No problems whatsoever. A few spots where folks are only using one lane, but otherwise perfectly ordinary.

Well, you might think it's unsightly but it does serve a purpose. It helps slow down the speeders who use Shadowmoor as a cut through to South Candler, often flying through the third stop sign just before Shadowmoor intersects Inman. As a neighbor, I'd rather have the Jeep than the speeders.

That's so funny! My wife and I just moved to the neighborhood and I have a blue '85 CJ7. I drive by that house all the time wondering if he (or she) ever drives it! I want to be friends with them so we can trail ride and work on jeeps together! Good to know I'm not going crazy in thinking it hasn't moved since we got here.

At least the front door of the house matches the Jeep color!

That's a tremendous photo of a little-known Winnona Park landmark, the yellow kit jeep. That ridiculous and unsightly piece of crap has been in that same spot, never moved, for years. Maybe decades. Since the WP old-timers have moved away or departed this mortal coil, the origin of the lemon-yellow monstrosity has been lost to the ages, but I'm grateful that in this town where so much changes so fast, some things are unchanged (except for the effects of mildew and dry rot).

Main streets in Decatur are bare or slushy and drivable. Residential streets are slushy except in the high tree canopy areas where they still have some hard pack underneath water--could be slippery. Everything is wet but walkable.
