That’s my understanding too. The problem is that the ratio of students/building capacity is higher on the south side because three of the five schools on the south side cannot be used for K-3. On the north side, only one of the four schools isn’t are able to be used for K-3.

And before, if you lived in Oakhurst on one THIRD West Hill & West Benson, you had to cross McDonough and Candler to get to Winona while your next door neighbor was sent to Oakhurst. About two-three blocks away…
