Hmmm. This has potential……

As an aside, the biggest packages to show up on our doorstep are when we order recycled paper towels and toilet paper in bulk. They come in moving wardrobe size boxes. I wonder how many times they’ve attracted thieves who pick them up and then realize there’s no way there’s electronics inside. Plus they won’t fit in most cars.

Yes, do call and make a report to the police. It may help in a larger picture that you don’t see or you or the shipper may want it for insurance purposes.

I made the mistake this summer of having a package delivered to my home in not-Decatur. I got a call from a neighbor that she had seen some kids grab it from my porch. I reported it to the DeKalb County Police because they had also ripped a screen from a window and it was an attempted B&E. The cop who came two hours later asked me what was in the box. He got a good laugh when I told him it was a hand carved wooden statue of James Brown.
