Great job. Appreciate the proactive approach. One comment: The issue of dark and secluded applies to the county parking structure which is the recommended fallback when, as usual, there’s no street parking available in Downtown Decatur. But that facility just doesn’t feel safe. Better lighting, ambience, and occasional security patrols would help. And if it is safe already, just doesn’t appear so, do something about the appearance. I know this is county property–can we acquire it somehow like we’re acquiring the Calloway Building? It’s just not up to Downtown Decatur standards of safety and friendliness.
