But I haven’t seen such an arrest in a while. When I’ve witnessed the arrests they hustle the offender out of sight as quickly as possible, presumably so as not to blow the cover. But in New York they used to line them up, in handcuffs, against the wall by the station entrance, so everyone would see them. That might have some deterrent value still.
