if i’m being followed, i’m turning on my blinking hazard lights, honking my horn, and generally becoming a clown car–minus all the clowns. except one.

I don’t know about yours, but my phone can lock the screen to prevent butt-dialing. Accidental butt-dialing the PD can have unintended consequences, though. I recall an incident on the west side a few months ago where an entire drug buy was recorded on 911 after one of the parties butt-dialed.

Or better yet, do what I do – program it into one of the immediate access keys on the keypad. If I hold down “2”, it dials DPD.
