I second Kroger. They have great pork butts (shoulder) and picnic cuts (less marbled part of the shoulder). I smoked one of each last weekend and they were supurb.

I agree w/you on Busetto. The Patak Hunter’s salami is also damn good.

You g-d, m-fer. I thought the Eden Farms nitrate-free ham at YDFM was MY secret! If they’re out of it next week because of a DM-fueled run on ham, Mrs. J_T is going to be very pissed.

But if we are spilling secrets, when you order the ham, right next to it is the Busseto salami. The regular genoa is damn good. The pepper coated one is like crack. In fact, I think I’m about to go make myself a sandwich right now…

On Frazier Road, there are no sidewalks in the vicinity of the RR crossing and although I don’t frequent the street, in 15 years of using it occasionally I have never once seen any pedestrians on that street between Lavista and L’ville Hwy.
