I’m certainly not an expert in that area, but I could see the potential of a legal challenge if there was an attempt to delay the project and then force it to conform to a new ordinance. Keep in mind that the original project that was scuttled did bring about a change in the parking requirements and other zoning regulations.

I didn’t take Greg Coleson’s comment as an attempt to stall the project. In fact I think it’s a great idea to review before we have a flood of projects going up in COD and wished we had done it. I hope the City is thinking along the same lines for that and any other ordinances that might need to be updated.

I also wonder if H&F will be required to serve everything stale and cold, like all of the other concession stands at Turner.

Not to get off on a rant here, but if you are a ballpark and you can’t get hot dogs right, you should go out of business. Everyone involved with concessions at Turner Field should be tried for malpractice.

Greg Coleson’s comment in the ABC that Decatur should adopt a green building ordinance before 315 WPonce moves forward is not well thought out.

There *may* be other valid reasons to stall 315 WPonce, but the absence of green building ordinance isn’t among them.

They’ll probably up it to at least 100. But at stadium prices of $50 a pop, they’ll still make a nice little profit by the second inning.
