Have you not watched the news at all since the election? It isn’t a done deal, but the consensus is clearly that taxes are going up. If nothing else, the temporaty payroll tax deduction is expiring, and it needs to. We can’t keep borrowing from our future just to prop up the present.

Two thoughts: I am somewhat surprised about the immediate negative statement reactions before any details are avialable. And second, keep in mind that the T-SPLOST was approved by many areas inside I285, including Decatur.
