we did the same area at the last event- highly recommend going for a stroll on the streets. So nice to wander down a street and not worry about being mowed over by a car. Even better was the great atmosphere of everyone out for a nice afternoon stroll/bike/skate etc.

Been one of the trespassers. The trail is awesome. Amazing how quick you can bike from Dekalb Ave/Decatur Street to Monroe/Piedmont Park.

Walked the Highland portion of this route at a similar spring event, without the Beltway loop added. Weather was great, and the lack of cars was really nice. Saw belly dancers, heard an amazing a capella group (had ‘Emory’ in their name), ate some good food and even walked around with a beer. Guess they relaxed the Atlanta open container rule for the day? If the weather is good, this should be a great event, too.
