If I needed dinner for 6 quick, I could go there any night and walk out with to go boxes in hand in under 10 minutes. Kids always cleaned their plates on Picadilly nights. There’s another one up on Lavista, but I am unlikely to fight the traffic to get there. Boo.

Haven’t been to a Piccadilly in years — a function of my own different work/traffic patterns — but like knowing it’s around. Guess retailers & restaurants can’t survive on best wishes.

Friend of a friend used to say the perfect dining-out day in Atlanta is breakfast at Waffle House, lunch at the Varsity and supper at Piccadilly.

There’s now a “For Rent” sign out front. Is it because of the expenses of rebuilding their tree-crushed building on Dekalb Ave.?
