I earned my undergraduate degree almost 20 years ago, and I can’t remember a single woman who was there to hunt a husband. Well, there was one Jesus freak, but everyone laughed at her. To be fair, I didn’t attend UGA, but I can’t imagine kids down here are so different. She is making fun of people who assume women attend college to get a man, and women who might do so, but it just seems so irrelevant. Then again, the poor thing is just a kid. She’s probably going to shoot at bigger, funnier targets as her writing matures.
