		<description><![CDATA[That AJC article on the approval of the state transportation planning director is concerning.  I don&#039;t know the guy personally, and this is not about him - but when a political aide is tapped to run arguably the most corrupt area of our state government (transportation), with multi-billions of budget to potentially spread around to political cronies, and the bipartisan Senate Transportation Committee unanimously confirms the choice without any questions.....

What&#039;s also concerning is that Jim Galloway and the AJC don&#039;t seem interested in really digging into this.  If they are not going to play watchdog, who is?
