Thank you, but I understand how advertising works on Facebook quite well. I'm wondering about Wal-Mart buying up Facebook ads in the Atlanta market ... and I guess whether it's related to the efforts to keep Wal-Mart out of Suburban Plaza and in other locations. For me, just about every ad on FB is for an Atlanta Wal-Mart right now. It may be that it's particular to my demographic as a 30something woman -- the husband told me he's not getting the same ads.

This thread might be too old now to get a response, but have any Facebook users out there been flooded with ads for metro Atlanta Wal-mart recently?

Every time I open Facebook I see a St. Patrick's-Day-themed ad for the Ashford-Dunwoody Wal-mart, the Morrow Wal-mart, the Decatur Wal-mart, etc. Because I'm cranky, I've actually clicked through to request that they they be blocked, but they still keep showing up.

I guess somebody thought a Facebook campaign made sense in metro Atlanta?

Our vet (at the awesome Village Vets) has our dog on Sentinel, which is not only for fleas & ticks, but for heartworm prevention as well (very important as we ease into mosquito season). Works very well, and our pup hasn't had any side effects in the 13+ months he's been on it.

Hmmm...better watch it, SNH-- you start making sense, and the thin-skinned parents on this board are gonna rise up in righteous indignation, label you a troll, & tell you just what a narrow-minded/nasty/child-hating MEANIE you are for suggesting that there are appropriate times & places children should be taken out, or worse yet, times when they should be left home.
