I’m wondering about Wal-Mart buying up Facebook ads in the Atlanta market … and I guess whether it’s related to the efforts to keep Wal-Mart out of Suburban Plaza and in other locations. For me, just about every ad on FB is for an Atlanta Wal-Mart right now. It may be that it’s particular to my demographic as a 30something woman — the husband told me he’s not getting the same ads.

Every time I open Facebook I see a St. Patrick’s-Day-themed ad for the Ashford-Dunwoody Wal-mart, the Morrow Wal-mart, the Decatur Wal-mart, etc. Because I’m cranky, I’ve actually clicked through to request that they they be blocked, but they still keep showing up.

I guess somebody thought a Facebook campaign made sense in metro Atlanta?

Works very well, and our pup hasn’t had any side effects in the 13+ months he’s been on it.
