Oh, and here’s a plug for a nearby fun event next Saturday 1/21. The Abominable Sideshow is a benefit for the Seed and Feed Marching Abominable Endowment. It takes place 7:00 until 11:00 at the First Existentialist Congregation of Atlanta, 460 Candler Park Drive. The headliner is the incredible Francine Reed; also appearing are Steinbeck’s favorites The Wasted Potential Brass Band, rock group My Imaginary Band, and Berne Poliakoff (Frenchy from Cowboy Envy). Frenchy and Francine will be backed a small group plucked from the Big Peach Orchestra. Light snacks and beer and wine will be available. Tickets are $20 general admission and are tax deductible.
