My daughters and I have made Decatur Windchimes (with the permission of the Commish) out of recycled aluminum cans. We made some mini-ones that work great as ornaments. 1/2 of proceeds benefit Decatur Youth Fund. Check ‘em out on Facebook at Decatur Craft Geeks.

Would anyone be interested in meeting before or after the movie screening, “Walmart: The High Cost of Low Price,” on Tuesday (Dec 6 @ 7:30 at PushPush Theatre)?

Or a meeting on Thursday since this is short notice? If so, we’ll find a good spot to gather.

We’d like a community question and answer forum during which the community can express concerns (and things about the project they like or would like to be changed while still endorsing the center) with the rest of the community hearing them, commenting on them and troubleshooting. We envision the result to be a task force that compiles a list of commitments that Selig, Walmart and the community agree upon before the development moves forward.
