The potatoes with huancaina sauce is out of this world. Careful, it’s not gluten free – they grind up saltines to make it thick. But it is amazing.

A lot of people have an MSG sensitivity (I hesitate to call it an allergy) that can result in nausea, headaches, or just plain “feeling logy” when they consume it. My mom is one of them.

I’m no fan of Chambliss, but would like to direct some special ire at Johnny Isakson, who today inserted a rider into an appropriations bill that keeps the Fannie/Freddie confirming mortgage loan limit at about $750,000. (Prior to the housing bubble bursting it was $417k, and back then Fannie and Freddie weren’t in receivership.) Left/right aside, this is the sort of abysmal judgment and upper-class welfare that has given Congress its well-deserved reputation for complete idiocy.

If put in the driver’s seat of an impending head on collision, I’d tack towards collision avoidance too. It looked like the kind of wreck that people would still remember after 4 years.

My judgement focuses on what Saxby was saying before that, when he felt safe to mouth off, and on his debt-ceiling voting record.
