My mistake: It’s anyone buying a book with a red COVER, not red in the title. So a lot more opportunity to earn for DecaturRED.

The number and variety of businesses supporting this effort is amazing to me. In the best way. Considering that not too long ago even the advertising agency for these products used a bizarre non-sentence for promotion. Remember “Modess…because”?

Blue Elephant has a fun way of doing it: They donate 50 cents to the cause for every book you buy with the color red in the title, e.g. “Red Sky at Morning”, “The Scarlett Letter”, “The Red Badge of Courage”, “The Red Tent: A Novel”, “The Hunt for Red October”, “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish”, etc. They have “red” books ready for your selection.
