		<description><![CDATA[Exactly my point, Steve. The courthouse had the advantage of being grand so, when the garden ladies rose up to save it, it was a lot easier for them to rally support. Residents *got* the fact that it was something special. But it&#039;s mostly been in hindsight that we&#039;ve realized our not-so-grand, everyday places were pretty special too. 

I&#039;m glad this dominant &quot;newer-is-better&quot; mindset seems to be fading. As in love, sometimes you have to lose something to realize just how good it was.]]></description>
