The texting cyclist was on what I call a regular bike — what online bicycle merchants call a “comfort” bike (I’ve been window shopping a bit) — riding upright and holding his phone in both hands, looking down at it.

Your implication that I made that up, or even exaggerated about it, is pretty irritating.
