Any chance you could link to a copy of the menu? I'm always on the hunt for a good & gooey melty veggie sandwich!

(There's always bumps when starting a new business. Hope things are soaring now!)

I would like to apologize to My name is not suzan I am the owner of Rocket 88 and have been there every day if you would have spoken with me on that day we could have cleared thing up and made the necessary corrections to make you experience a more pleasant one. But thanks to your comments I have reminded my staff to serve a bag of chips with all the children's sandwiches as well as the half of a footlong hot dog. The blacked eyed pea salad that is intended to be served cold because it is a salad now is served with an option of hot or cold. And yes there is better portion control on the meat potions on every sandwich, also the chicken on the spicy chicken salad is now cut into larger pieces so that it does not look boiled and you can chose between fiery hot or mild sauce. I apologize again and am glad that I could take what seems like slander and turn it into constructive criticism.

Had lunch there today and I could not have been more underwhelmed - in fact it was bad. I usually give negative experiences at least one more try; I understand a new restaurant wait staff learning curve, perhaps a goof in the kitchen, but this was downright bad. It wasn't the service, it was the food itself: I ordered a salad with "grilled" chicken. Pathetic showing of a salad with boiled chicken - devoid of flavor- tossed in buffalo sauce (yes, I knew buffalo sauce involved). Served in annoying little bowl with plastic utensils. Gets worse: childrens' hotdog? A hot dog cut in half. No side, not even a pickle. Just half a hot dog in a plastic basket. Hubby: a "Joey" deli sandwich. This thing had about 2 slices of deli meat. It was so flat that I was actually stumped. The sandwiches I pack for my little one for school is twice as large. If you say you are a deli, you need to have substantial sandwiches. His side of black eyed pea salad was frigid. Not cool or room temp, downright near freezing point. It was almost insulting how pathetic the portions were (and I dislike supersizing) and even presentation. Staff was nice, but that will never cut it.
