A lot of inherent beauty.
Dearborn Park’s Shoal Creek’s massive granite boulders deliver a natural respite you won’t find elsewhere in Decatur. Olmstead would’ve loved the possibilities.
Even now, when you look past the aggressive English ivy growth and the occasional empty condom wrapper, it’s a great alternative to more crowded local parks.
But, considering it’s a Dekalb county park, how much can Decatur do?
